Victoria Hale recently retired from a career in marketing to the industrial sector. Writing has been a passion all her life and the creativity involved in marketing products and services satisfied that need. Her work provided opportunity for written expression through press releases, blogging, and web content. Now she is happily returning full time to her artistic roots. Victoria’s creative endeavors include lithography, sculpture, and painting watercolor, oil, and acrylics. She enjoys sketching charcoal portraits, and nature photography, but writing remains her number one interest and outlet.
She has been moved and influenced by poets from the past such as Voltaire, Kipling, Emily Dickinson, The Bronte Sisters, Emerson, Thoreau, among many others. She finds inspiration in the words and lyrics of more contemporary poets and songwriters: Rod McKuen, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and most recently the poet, Atticus.
Each new day dawns bringing with it a chance for exploration and expression. She looks forward to sharing that with others through her contributions to Care2ShareNOW Card Studio.
